A trusted partner for social impact leaders navigating change and opportunity.
“Emma is highly organised, pragmatic and full of insight that only many years of direct professional experience can nurture — but this also comes from a store of wisdom about people, how they operate and how they can develop and become better versions of themselves, both professionally and personally.”
Lucie Russell, former CEO, RedThread
I work alongside Chief Executives, Chairs, Boards and Senior Leadership Teams as a thinking partner and critical friend — helping social impact leaders respond to challenge, shape strategy and lead with confidence.
Leadership in the social impact sector has rarely felt more demanding. Financial pressures. Complex stakeholders. Services stretched by growing need. The opportunities and uncertainties of AI and digital change. And the particular weight that comes with values-led leadership — caring deeply about the people your organisation exists to serve, while holding responsibility for the people who deliver that work.
I bring leadership expertise from across the commercial, public and charity sectors, with the last 16 years as a senior executive in the not-for-profit sector, including as a chief executive. That experience shapes everything about how I work — I understand what these roles ask of people, and what the right support at the right moment can make possible.
I bring strategic rigour, honest challenge and a way of working that is genuinely relational. I'm invested in the leaders I work with — because when leaders thrive, so do the organisations and communities they exist to serve.

“What stands out about Emma is her ability to create a safe, reflective space while not shying away from asking the more difficult questions. That balance has enabled me to think more clearly, test ideas, and develop my leadership approach with greater confidence and intentionality.”
